Nevermind all that detail and the image. Did you make the putt?

7:44 tee time a couple of days ago in northern New Jersey. All I had with me was an iPhone6. The golfer is about 220 yards out with a 200 yard shot to the green. I hit my drive over the traps down the right side of the fairway. I'm still looking for the drive. My partner found his drive, but is still looking for his approach shot. Two holes later, the fog was gone. No more lost balls. Great day.

It's always fun to play in some fog. I find that I concentrate on hitting the ball straight. Won a championship in complete fog, keeping the ball where it belonged. Scary experience. Great shot you made. I'm hoping I can return to the links next year. Worked on relearning the game after some surgeries and an injury. I'm going to be strong again and have some fun.

A beautiful morning mist while you’re going to chase in that little ball around.

I do not chase! That little ball goes much faster than I can.

Similar morning about 5 years ago. One of the guys says: maybe we should wait til the fog lifts.
Another guy is teeing up and says: I’m hitting now. It’s weird but there’s something about fog that makes all my drives go straight down the middle.

Very nice shot. If I tried playing golf again, I'd probably carry a camera just for this kind of shot.

Takes me back to more than one foggy morning on the links.
Beautiful capture, sadly I can no longer play. Had lumbar fusion and rods installed, twisting is a no no. You might want to bring your camera next round

I would gladly surrender a sleeve of balls to the fog for a shot like that.

A beautiful photo and story to match. Many years ago, I was on a par 5 hole and had hit my drive to the top of a small hill. The group that was ahead of us was on the green and about 300 yds away. Hit my 2nd shot and the ball bounced and rolled onto the green. One of the players was getting ready to putt when my ball rolled past him and stopped next to the hole. Score 3 for a double birdie. I have never hit a ball that far before or since. I also apologized to the man who later bought me a beer at the 19th hole and congratulated me for a great shot.
