Great shot.

Thanks. Shot after 2 weeks in the mountains trekking my arse off (Tents, Sherpa, Guide, Cooks...) Got back into town then got a ride to a hotel I booked about 45 minutes out of Kathmandu. Had a real shower and actual food at my hotel. Snuck onto the roof and took in the sunset. A highly recommended trip for fotogs. A bit dangerous sometimes, but truly a bucket list item!!

Here’s Hotel California. Upmin the hills just east of Kathmandu overlooking the Himalayas. I have it in B&W too. :-)

Great image. Someplace I would like to see if I didn't have to actually spend time traveling there. (Where is a Star Trek t***sporter when I need one?) I h**e the hassle of travel and most of my interests can be done from my home. Not to mention the pests uh, pets need care and where I live I would need to hire a Special Forces squad to guard the place if I wanted to have anything when I got back.

All of the drop-out losers who can't even get a job in the present climate spend their time breaking into cars and houses, l**ting mailboxes and being Porch Pirates are moving out of their own neighborhoods into the middle class and even upper class areas in big numbers. Good for the home security business - my wife insisted I put in an elaborate one - "Simplisafe" - door and window sensors, motion sensors, cameras, motion sensor lights and cameras outside, monitoring and remote access with our cell phones. This happened in the early summer when a group went through our area jumping fences etc. One got into our yard, our two small dogs went on the attack, he went over the fence - Marley a yellow lab mix about the size of a small pony chased him back over the fence at the front of his yard and the guy landed on a wrought iron table which turned over and dumped him on my front lawn from which he ran limping past the guy down the street who was leaving for work at 5 AM and the cops went by trailing him a few minutes later. All this woke up our daughter who had fallen asleep watching TV on the couch and she heard his fence and gate jumping and saw him take off limping out of our front yard. I ended up outside with flash light etc and waving to the patrol car as it went by. The guy next door was getting ready for work and scared one guy out of his backyard & patio. In addition to his wife's lapdog he now has two large dogs in his yard.

I decided to resubscribe to the Attic but plan read and avoid posting most of the time. There are a few here on both sides whose posts are worth reading.
