Write the word "Not" above Canon. Will that make her happy? It would be a conversation starter for sure.
I have two similar cases. One by Lowepro and one from Tamrac.
You "couldn't" care less not "could" care less about the bag
LL Bean used to sell one like that. The one I had was well padded and had a comfy shoulder strap.

I actually planned to until she told me "I don't have a Canon."
No, I suppose it can be another brand like Tamrac or the like. But the Canon bag is very well designed and well padded.
I suggest you find her a Nikon one that way she won’t gave to constantly worry about theft!!! LoL

Nothing says "Steal Me" quite like a camera bag that has "NIKON" boldly embroidered on it.
Wisdom! I’d place a label on it and say Portable Dog Poop storage.
I always find someway to obliterate brand names from the outside of bags except possibly Kodak. My object is to avoid displaying the presence of quality photo equipment. Not dissing Kodak but the name doesn't seem to attract unwanted attention. Until Nikon, Canon, Leica et. al. start paying me quarterly billboard fees I see nothing but trouble in free advertising.

WOW...Thanks for all the helpful and whimsical responses. What a great bunch! I'll run this by her.
My honey actually has all of her Nikon gear in a Canon bag now. It's just the right size and beautifully made. I was just looking for a smaller bag for our brief outings that was similar to mine, which by the way does not have any tell-tale tags to indicate who produced it.
I have a nice Lowepro bag on the way that she may like. Thanks again to all.
