Yep, me too - very useful. Just the right size for a FF, grip and a 70-200.

Nothing says "Steal Me" quite like a camera bag that has "NIKON" boldly embroidered on it.

Maybe a little duct tape is called for?

Think Tank makes a very similar style and it is really rugged. Lesson learned-I had a Ping putter in my golf bag with a cover showing the "Ping" name. It was stolen within three weeks. I no longer "advertise" what is in my bags!

I have the Lowepro 55 model. It has an all weather cover that stores in a Velcro pocket on the outside bottom of the case. This feature has come in handy on quite a few occasions on those south Florida downpours.

I have a Canon bag for my Nikon gear. A nice bag that was at a reasonable price. Could care less about the name on it as long as it functions.

But of course others might have a different opinion. I have Nikon equipment and would not carry it in a Canon, Sony, Hasselblad or other branded case. There are many unbranded similar cases by Tamrac, Lowepro and others. As was said above, Canon most likely did not make the bag shown. Another company did. That company most likely makes one that says Nikon.

Have a wonderful day,

Dennis

I actually planned to until she told me "I don't have a Canon."

No, I suppose it can be another brand like Tamrac or the like. But the Canon bag is very well designed and well padded.

If that bag does fit her camera, get it for her. At the same time get one of those souvenir decals, with a flag, a place name & picture or whatever you fancy, just make sure it covers the Canon name.
A small tube of contact cement will help to keep it in place.

(I did this with a camera bag, messenger style. The bag's brandname was shouting: "I contain a camera and lenses; steal me". Now there are Maple Leaf, a buffalo in Elk Island, totem poles in Stanley Park, and a few others on the front flap, and it no longer even looks like a camera bag!)

I have a Think Tank Holster listed on Ebay that I believe is similar to what you are asking about.

Check out think tank bags. They make a great series of holsters. No brand name on them, which I think is an advantage.

Exactly what loosecanon says....Why tell thieves what you are carrying and what possesses you to free advertising for Nikon, Canon or whatever company?

Do a search on ebay and you will lots of camera bags including quite a number of them like the photo. I have several and the cost is usually about $10.00 with free shipping from China. You can also find a number of them that are the same but priced higher. Arrival time is usually in the 10 days to two or three weeks. You will also see a number of different styles that might be more usable for your wife. I have been buying from eBay for some 20 years and have no problems. HTH
