It's so subjective. I've never before in all my years of shooting thought of lens flare as anything but an error on my part. But the pro auto photographer who was guiding the group suggested that it might be utilized as an artistic element. As far as I'm concerned, the jury is out. But as someone else commented on your post, it did distinguish my images from everything my peers submitted. In any event, I like pushing my own boundaries and comments such as yours are always helpful and appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to submit your honest assessment.
