I had the opportunity today, along with a group of photographer friends, to work with a professional car photographer to shoot this bright yellow oldie but goodie. It's pretty hard to stand out from the crowd with a dozen photographers all shooting the same subject, so I used a little lens flare. I find it's a useful artistic elements at times.
I shot the ocean vista to test out my new Nikon 24-120mm, f/4 lens.
What do you guys think?

There was a feminism beauty to this era fenders... the curvature. I had a 36 Ford 5 window. V8 of course. The interchangeability of part up until 1950 was amazing. Rdrechsler, Your photos utilized the sun to their advantage.

Yes, that’s so true. It was a great era for cars. Thanks for the compliment. Of all the other photographers that posted some truly creative work, no one utilized lens flares. I like the way they turned out.

I liked the flare as it was surely different from all the rest of your peers submissions.
