Time to Take a Ride?

This train was giving rides this weekend to the next town and back at the Good Earth Festival in Atlanta, Indiana, on the old Monon Line north of Indianapolis.
The primary engine is an old Monon engine, and I have no idea what the little guy on the other end is--I have never seen one like it. Perhaps someone here has.

Did I take a ride? No--I would have had I had the time.

OK--makes sense. I like trains, but I can’t say that I know much about them.
Thanks for the reply.

A strange equipment combination, but whatever works for the railroad. Nice pics.

We have a new car terminal near us and this is what is used to move the car carriers from the siding into the yard where the carriers are unloaded and then returned to the siding for pickup.
