Yesterday I stop to see a friend about something, he was rebuilding his father maple syrup builder. He putting in all new equipment. One part of the equipment he was putting in yesterday. It was made in Canada, so he had to pay $1,500 tariff on it. I came be in Canada by car in a half hour. So a lot of goods come in from Canada here. The best of maple syrup equipment come from Canada. Maple syrup making is a second income for people up here in Northern New York. Thank to Trump and his tariffs that second income will be cut back big time.
