An interesting thing about the photo is the content of the photo. Had it not been the subject of a politically oriented topic in the real world then odds are it would not have generated any politically oriented banter here. But, since that is not the case, the odds of at least part of the conversation turning political were pretty good.
It is a pretty aircraft, not like that horrendous thing with the screaming eagle on it. The paint scheme is graceful and smartly done. I especially like the light blue on the nacelles. The plane may be obsolete but it sure is pretty.
As for the political insanity, watch any TV lately? They're already shoving the, he's a bad guy vote for me, commercials down our throats and the election is almost a month and a half away. I think maybe I'll go rent some DVD'S.

I too like the present scheme. I looked and I didn't see anywhere in the constitution that grants the president executive rights to decide on the presidential aircraft color scheme. Since we the people are paying for those aircraft, we the people should be allowed to pick the paint scheme.

As a former military pilot, I believe that the color selected is to camoflage the plane against the sky for obvious reasons.
