Sorry , but I dont like it...
Doesn't that just cry "shoot me down" (not visually "stealthy").
I saw your photo of the Robyn. We spent more of our lives living in IL and they two birds I miss seeing the most is the Robyn and Cardinal. It was just common place to see them outside our window and everywhere we went. We live in the Phoenix area and never see them to my remembrance.

It is big time, in your face... If that is a real concept, it does look like something Donald would like, gaudy, flashy and way major tasteless. And I thought the Hello Kitty themed planes in Japan were silly, cute, but silly.

Take it to the Attic.
I just tried to post what thought was a nice photo, well, a nice subject anyway, but so many are triggered so easily these days....you are so correct, if i could delete it I would

Nonsense. My comment wasn't directed at you, it was directed at those making the political comments. There is nothing wrong with posting that photo and discussing it. But now you snidely imply that I am somehow "triggered" or "offended" by that, thereby wallowing in the crap yourself. Don't dishonestly play innocent - you well know that your remarks are provocative and insulting.
Why would you assume that I was addressing you with my comment? So just who was "triggered" exactly? Pot, meet kettle.
Take it to the blankety-blank Attic. Thanks.

Sorry Blenheim, if you took that wrong, I wasn`t inferring to you at all....I totally agreed with your comment.

You directly addressed me. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Yep, I was agreeing with you on the political insanity

Cardinals or Nothern Cardinals as they are properly called, are abundant in the eastern half of the USA and even parts of Mexico, but they are quite the rare sight in most of Arizona. The American Robin, my favorite song bird, can be found all over the US although they are a bit rarer in parts of the southwest. I haven't been to the Phoenix area in years; I had a close relative who lived in Scottsdale when she was an officer in the USAF, and use to visit. We had a lot in common and enjoyed hanging out. She actually was living the life I wanted. I was turned down by the USAF for medical reasons. Anyway, the key to Robins is trees. Although you always see them foraging on the ground, they like trees, especially berry bearing trees. If my recall serves me right, that type of tree is not real common in the Phoenix area and trees like we have around here aren't either.
One thing I've wondered about the Robin is, some migrate in the winter and some don't. If there is abundant food and shelter, many Robins will not migrate to their winter home in central America. Here's the thing, if they don't migrate then where are they in winter? I know I've seen the occasional Robin at one of my feeders in the winter so I know they are around. Why haven't I seen more of them?!
But, the first warm days of late winter early spring, there they are...

I for one found it to be a very interesting thought provoking picture that resulted in some interesting if not opinionated conversation, political or otherwise. That's the beauty of this website and of our glorious nation, the freedom to express ones opinion.
Of course there will always be those who dislike something and will express their right to dissent. As for those who demand the rest of us do as we are told by those who simply wish they were better than the rest of us, pppffffftttttt...
Think television; if you don't like what's on, go rent a DVD. 🕊️

So, if we don't like politics infesting the sections of the site that are devoted to photography issues, we should leave the site?
