Like Judy said, sometimes you just can't avoid other subjects
wandering into your images, or, in my case, sometimes I just
missed seeing them...LOL

OMG, this one is funny. We were on our first Caribbean Cruise,
which took me almost 30 years to convince my wife to go on,
and while we were touring the falls at Boca Rios, I noticed this
sign, and I had to get a picture of it.

And, honestly, I never saw the young lady behind the sign
posing and smiling at me...HONEST! Yes, it took me quite
some time to convince my wife I was telling the truth. LOL

Although planning a good composition while preparing to take a photo is a great thing to do, sometimes there are obsticals that can't be

avoided...I came accross a practical article-again in digital photo school that covers the subject quite well. Hope it will help you also!

Nice start Judy, thanks for the tips.

I took these two during our Christmas holiday in Edinburgh. The first one of David Hume was pretty junky until the extraneous stuff was cropped out. I was trying to shoot the painted Celt from across the street with people constantly walking into the frame. Cropping made for a much more interesting picture.

Good Examples Sue..Pg. 1

Thanks, Lesley!

And thank you Judy; after reading what your posted,
I started going through some of the images I've taken
over the years, cropped and straightened, and lo and
behold, I rediscovered some favorite images!

My favorite subjects include kids, grandkids, sunrises
and sunsets, flowers and critters.

After some good advice from Judy, I did a little more PP.

Thanks, Judy!

Now I do not like wires except in street photography, and the house on the right does not fit in style-wise with Jon's place and also the contrast with sky

So I tried this, did not really like it
