Like Cwilson said, " You might want to uninstall completely and then download and install from scratch ". I had one Luminar update give me trouble and it worked fine after I did an un-install and then re-installed the newest version. The re-install automatically registered, and I've done 3 updates since then that haven't given me a problem. I'm running it on a laptop that's older than yours, so I'd give it a shot.
