You’re welcome, but nobody (except Sony and apparently you) cares. Camera purchasers don’t care who’s in the lead in sales (only sales managers care) - they just care if their camera meets their needs. Do you really choose your camera based on who’s in the lead in sales?

Nope I bought a Sony way before they were in the lead, Some 10 years ago and All I hear is how bad Sony was, well I guess there not so bad after all they have become #1, Why? you can't stand it? Does it up set you?

No big deal really. I read recently Canon took over the number one spot for mirrorless in the first quarter of 2018 in Japan.

It will be interesting when Nikon releases their new mirrorless and see if there is a shift. Although in typical form, Canon is playing the wait game in releasing a FF mirrorless. That MO for some reason works for them.

Sony has been a leader in the professional high end production market or years, meaning $50k+ Cameras , and monitors used by the film and TV studios. Sony is a serious competitor. Canikon should be and are, concerned.

Good for Canon, I'm sure there will be a shift upon Nikon release and when Canon release there's and then Sony will release another one and the shift will swing back, the problem with Canon and Nikon new mirrowless is there no lenses out, there way behind. The pro's are shifting to Sony.

As I've said, I don't doubt that Sony is a killer camera but like I've said, I don't see them!!!
Maybe it's the FF mL market because 6 years ago did they even have a FF?
BTW, every lens Canon makes will fit it's mirrorless.

Looking at recent posts on UHH it seems like there are more threads/posts bragging/defending about Sony than there are bashing Sony.

Sony makes good gear. Sony users seem insecure in their decisions. Sony should include a coupon for a free therapy session with each camera and lens.
