Yeah, I'd treasure those teeth marks, as well.

Ditto!!! My father who died in 1955, was an avid fisherman. His proudest possession was a Creek Club Pikeminnow, a wooden artificial lure for walleye and northern pike that was covered in tooth marks from all the fish he had caught over the years. I still have it as a keepsake. NEVER fix that camera and lens and pass it on to your children some day along with the photos.

Photographer Barbara Vorster dropped DSLR while touring Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana. Cubs complained that Back Button Focus was too hard to manipulate, will wait for another tourist to drop a Nikon before the Pride makes up its mind.

Vorster retrieved the camera, added, 'There are two huge teeth marks on the rubber focus rings of the lens and small teeth marks on the plastic lens hood, both of which I decided not to replace."

Just be glad the teeth marks weren't in her arm, Nice shots Good story

Nice shots. Too bad that large weapons (CANONS) are allowed in the park.

Very nice shots! Definitely a matter of turning a bad situation into a positive and memorable moment. Not only are these photos great but they also reveal her fast and creative-thinking while remaining calm.

The article that these images came from says she had two cameras, and while the lions demo'd the one in the pic, she used the other one to snap the shots, "not missing a beat".

That's bait and switch.

It's only a Canon not worth it!
