This is a excerpt from the book....
The Miracle about Miracles
by Schoeman Rudman

I believe this to be accurate and profound.

"That what seems to be the solid t***h is in fact a hologram of vibrating energy tricking our senses and therefore our minds into believing the illusion. That wh**ever meaning we attach to anything creates our t***h. That what we believe to be good is in fact not always good, and our definition of bad is in fact sometimes our biggest growth opportunity.
However, getting trapped into spirals is often our biggest challenge when we create unconsciously. The power of faith is such that once and as long as we believe anything, it is true. This book is about my personal journey through the jungle of mysteries, my personal roller-coaster ride through life and my discovery that as humans we are all destined to be exactly what we believe we are."

The problem here is that "faith" comes from within. True faith, however, comes from God. We do not make it up, we believe what God has revealed to us through the Bible and confirmed by the Holy Spirit. As Ephesians 2:8 says, our faith is a gift of God.

Actually, we believe what we "think" God is revealing to us.

Not everyone interprets what the read in exactly the same way.

The Gospel is fairly clear. However, I can understand how you would be skeptical until the Holy Spirit would bring you to faith as well. My only suggestion would be to attend a Gospel preaching Church for awhile.

I don’t get hits or either the man’s name or the book title. Perhaps you could clarify in the name of profound t***h.

Now, a hologram is an interruption of laser light, forming a three dimensional image. I’m not certain that is what he means.

I agree this far: we are composed of atoms, which are 99% empty space, and if our empty space fitted that of a brick wall, we could walk through the brick wall, our empty spaces allowing for the brick wall atoms to pass right through us or we through them.

Never seems to happen, though.

The atoms hold a terrific amount of energy locking them together, so much energy that we have the illusion that a human fist is a solid thing, and we confirm that illusion of solid when we receive a black eye from that 99% of empty space thrust in our direction, and into our face.

What is t***h?

I nominate that black eye as a very clear example.

Now, “That wh**ever meaning we attach to anything creates our t***h.”

Primitive man worships the flowers, the rivers, the forest, the god of harvest, and the god of rain, the god of the hunt and on and on.

The “civilized” man accept as t***h that which can be repeated, can be verified and predicted. We accept as t***h that water changes form above and below 32 degrees F. We see it, we can cause it, and repeat it, and this experience makes a suitable and stable and predictable life.

You may profess that water turns to steam at forty degrees, and you may believe it with a sincerity that is fundamental to your being, but that don’t make it so for the rest of us, does it? And if you continue to profess it, we will condemn you to a suitable institution.

We may be visited by beings from outer space someday (some say we already have been) and they may show us that the Pyramids exist to amplify energy, or how to make gold from lead, or how to gain energy from innocuous sources, and we will believe them If They Or We Can Repeat The Process!

A lightening strike on our house means one thing, a second one at the command of someone means something else indeed!

This is the very profound issue with our president. When he addresses the same topic on three consecutive days, everything varies. What is T***h for him on Monday differs from what is T***h for him on Tuesday, and both vary from what is T***h for him on Wednesday! Mobile t***h like this, variable t***h, p**********l t***h is no t***h at all. It deviates. It don’t repeat, do it?

“That what we believe to be good is in fact not always good, and our definition of bad is in fact sometimes our biggest growth opportunity.”

We are talking about ”T***h” aren’t we, not ‘good’ and ‘bad.’ That’s a different story.

Alright. We have bacteria and they make beer and wine, they make cheese (don’t they?) and these are good.

They also spoil meat and sometimes spoil our meat with disease, and that is bad, unless it is an inoculation, in which case it is good, unless the inoculation goes bad on us, and then it is again bad.

We can believe inoculations are bad, and many do, but come down with syphilis and see what you think then.

When children around yours are falling to Polio, and are paralyzed for life, and you remember a famous doctor and his efforts, and careful repetition of his serum applications save a huge number from experiencing polio, what is good?

“The power of faith is such that once and as long as we believe anything, it is true.”. ‘The power of faith,’ is that it assumes or accepts that which cannot be repeated, but can be believed, and is true and genuine and valid. And if sincerity is the standard, do you accept that the Muslim whose faith tells him that murdering Christians is true and justifiable and right? His action is understandable, is justified and true, and will you absolve him for his sincerity as the blade falls upon you?

Does his sincerity absolve T***h as we understand it? Does his Faith overpower Your Faith? Is his true? Is yours? Are they both true?

Digesting “T***h” and “Good versus Bad” and “Faith” is a full dinner plate for any philosophical dinner party, and I may miss your man’s point, but I think we are far from any final answers here.

Keep trying.

If the Gospel is so clear then why are there 37 branches of Protestantism plus Catholicism?

Protestantism is clear on Sole Fide, Sole Scriptura. There are some differences in other issues, however. One, for instance, is infant or believer baptism. Another which divides the dispensational denominations and the reformed denominations is the belief over Israel. Reformed Theology believes that the Church is the New Israel. Dispensational denominations believe the promises to Abraham will literally come true in the nation of Israel. Despite the differences between Reformed and Dispensational denominations, we stand as one in our belief in Jesus Christ as our personal savior. In fact, I'm a Baptist but married a Presbyterian, whom I met at Wheaton College, a well known Christian College.

Protestantism is, of course, distinct from Catholicism which does not hold to either Sole Fide or Sole Scriptura.

Peyote has miraculous powers. (or psilocybin, or LSD) Sounds like to me.

Unless you believe that the book of revelations is proof there were mushrooms on the Isle of Patmos and John found them.

Hallucinogens would probably change your view on a lot. Not suggesting you try them. Likely you couldn't handle them, but they would give you real insight into the power of your mind to deceive you. What you perceive isn't always what is. Not trying to get you to change your mind about God, but it wouldn't hurt you to realize that your t***h isn't necessarily some one else's t***h.

I entered the following in Google Search and got a whole list.

Schoeman Rudman the miracle about miracles

Schoeman is from South Africa.

This refers to an individuals perception of "t***h".
As we've seen here on UHH, there are very different "t***hs" about events, and people.
Just look at the range of comments about our President.

The alternative is that all the mass of the universe exploded in and of itself from a single point in space smaller than an atom.

The fact that I love is that there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth.

Wow, when God creates He really does it big time!!
