B&W or Color? (P.S. not recommended for purists)
Thank you all for the answers!

As rendered, "B&W or Color" is a false choice.
The flowing water is the subject and centered
in your FoV, so it's really dominant. If you will
look almost dead center in your frame you can
see some tonal differentiation in the B&W, but
next to none in the Color version.
To avoid posting a new version of your finished
image I've cropped down closer to the water.
It proved possible to dig out a useful amount
tone in the water in the Color version to put it
on more equal footing with the B&W. And I do
think that is what the color version needed for
a fair comparison between the two modes.

I understand that now, thank you!
And after I saw the tweaked versions I STILL prefer the color....

Love both photos, but the B&W seems to match the environment better.

Armandoluiz, I like both photos about the same. The color would probably be better for most of my friends, however, the B&W version would be on my wall. It is to me at least a fantastic photo.

Thank you so much Greg 😊
The color version doesn't do anything for me. The b&w was the way to go.
The impact of the falls is definitely greater in the black and white.
My eye sees a very attractive and subtle mix of colors in the foreground. For me this is a successful foreground/background composition, with the foreground adding a good deal of overall interest to the shot. The bw rendition loses that and depends more on the shock value of stark black and white. But it does not induce me to linger and savor the details as the color rendition does. Nice shot.

I really like them both but I'm actually going to go with the color !
I think this particular scene works well in both B&W and color. I tend to think that documentary type photos and some landscapes are good subjects for B&W. Color works best for most others. Personal preference of you, the photographer, is the primary governing factor for which form to use for your subjects.

I like the B&W. It highlights the tiny falls much better
