Why not purchase a changing bag and do it yourself? After a little practice using a roll of film in the daylight a person can get quite good. You'll then be able to control exactly what you are looking for. Patterson Tanks and reels work just fine. Many different chemicals to use from Kodak or Ilford. I used Ilfosol [?] myself. Try it. It's really fun.

For a place that specializes in High end B&W processing plus Fine Art B&W work there is:

Weldon Color Lab
8945 Exposition Blvd,
Los Angeles, CA 90034
310.837.7811 or Toll Free 888.893.5366

I have known the owner for 45+ years. His work is above reproach.

They sure do. I had a number of colored filters for all my B&W film back in the 1960s. I did all my own film developing and printing. The dark red was great for deep blue sky and puffy white clouds.

You got dark blue skies on black and white film?? Interesting!

Does anyone know a good black and white film service???? I am getting very disappointed in the service I am currently using.

What service are you currently using that you are disappointed with?

I use The Darkroom and also Dwyane's Photos for BW and color film developing. Both return the original negatives + prints, cds, etc as selected.

Anybody can record blue skies on B&W film. The filters make it darker or lighter gray.

You probably will make a better job developing the B&W film yourself?
Just four simple chemicals and a wash.
Highly recommend!

Wow, all I can say is your work is amazing and inspiration!
Hope to get to know you better!
I have a Canon AE-1 that I first started working with back in 2003 then after my friends liked my "eye" so well they gave that camera to keep as a gift and then I bought their Nikon D70 off if them which I mainly shoot with.
Thank you for sharing.

Love this shot! Lived in AZ for a few years when I was growing up. At times I do miss the Southwest but have lived here in NYC for 28 years now...
Thank you,
Daniel
