And the price of silver is so constant? I haven't followed it since the Hunts blew it up, but it was like a roller coaster back then. Went from $5 to $55 and down to $11. (about)

The dollar is what has weakened over time ... and back in the Hunt days silver averaged $16.XX.

Oil is a fungible resource the price is set by international markets, but as far as I can tell there are two reasons for the spikes, one is that the US has placed sanctions on Iran and its oil, secondly president Obama's beneficiaries the Houthis rebels attacked two Saudi tankers and they stopped shipping through the Red Sea.

With one billion four hundred million people in China and only three hundred million are driving in China it doesn’t compare to the USA!
But there death rate in China from automobiles is I believe around 260,000 a year?
