As I understand it, USA is making more oil than Saudi Arabia. If that is true, someone explane to me why I am still pay $3.07 a gal.. I don't hear anything from Trump about his "America First" when it come to the price of oil here in the USA.

Okay thanks for the info on that. I forgot about futures market buying and selling tactics it certainly sucks that way, I do recall an article I read some years back on that matter I does run the cost crude up and down!

The attached is a good analysis of the reason for the rising price of gas at the pump. The tax cut only exacerbated the price of gas. Of course Trump and his no millionaire left behind don't feel the squeeze but you and me sure do!

You are aware that the article predates the Trump presidency and tax cuts by a decade.
The one t***h in it about the long term average price rise is that fuel isn’t going up but the dollar keeps going down due to l*****t monetary policy.
If you measure the price of a barrel of oil against an ounce of silver it becomes very consistent.

The amount on the market has went up as has demand in the short term ... but as an answer in the long run, prices are close to what they were in the Great Depression after inflation adjustment.
Why do you think that is?

actually the supply is not that great...WORLDWIDE storage inventories are low at this moment...Problems at Straights of Hormuz have shut down daily shipments by
1/2 to 1 million bbl daily...Thank you to our "friends" in Iran...

Maybe you should check Cushing, Okla weekly inventory....less than 1/2 of year ago...if you are really interested or just want to b***h about Trump..
Cushing is still one of the major indicators of USA inventory...if you are interested.. Trump has ZERO to do with those oil tanks!!!!
