Rawtherapee, Paintshop Pro and Nik Filters

Use Rawtherapee for RAW conversion. It should be noted that Rawtherapee is a very powerful further photo enhancement program and free. I use PSP because of the layers ability that RT does not have.

I use Nikon Capture NX2. I seems to do everything that I need it to. There is a bit of a learning curve. But I expect that's always the case.
Does anyone else use this? How do you think it compares to other software programs?

I've enjoyed reading what other use. For me, Photoshop CS5 is my primary for my Canon 5D2, and Affinity Photo is my secondary, especially for my Lumix camera Raw files.

On1 has many of the same features as Lroom and Pshop.

I use Capture One Pro v11. I have a Sony A9. I find it very satisfactory for my amateur needs.

Waiting for the image management system to come out later this year for Luminar. Using the 2018 version now and love what it does in very little time. Capture One Pro is awesome but I could not get the library system straight in my mind so abandoned it.

Photoshop CC only, plus a few plug-ins...I went for the bargain of the photographer's plan in 2014 since it became available, and It is STILL a bargain at $10/month USD with all the new features that have been added since then.. May photographers are "somewhat" intimidated by Photoshop, but it is easier to use than they think..And I am NOT a geek! (HA!)

Luminar is my go to for photos. It is getting better all the time. One prive. Getting closer to Lightroom IMO. Hear it might get photo storage by the end of the year.

When people told you to stick with it they meant to stick with Lightroom and Photoshop but not to a specific version. They meant to update to new version whenever new version is available. So it means now to subscribe to Adobe $10 a month lightroom and photoshop cc.

Adobe Photography Plan which includes Photoshop, Lightroom, Camera RAW and Bridge. I don't really use Lightroom because I don't need or want the photo/file management that it forces on you. Camera RAW is part of Photoshop as well, so I can do pretty much everything I would use Lightroom for plus a lot more if needed. It can also be used with Bridge if you don't want either Photoshop or Lightroom. I've been in IT since before the first IBM PC and have my own organizational methods. As a result, I use Photoshop and Bridge. I also use Topaz Studio since it is a bargain (free) and has many really nice features.

ON1. Lightroom to do text in margin of print, also I print out composits for a coustomer to pick out which print that they want printed. Photoshop when there is a lot of text to be added to a photo. Otherwise ON1 does everything that LR and PS do only faster and easy'er.

I upload all my photos into Lr, and do most of my processing there. Depending on what I am trying to achieve, I may use Topaz or ON1 and PS. For portraits, I may use Portrait Pro. As has been discussed many times here, PortraitPro must be cut back substantially in order to avoid a plastic look.

LR Classic, occas. Windows Photo or VCSO (cellphone editor). Learning PS, but LR is my go-to.
