Very, very much improved. Digital noise is vastly reduced. Good job.

Here is the redo

I downloaded your last edit to have a look and I found that it can safely be given a liitle more brightness for a positive effect. I also found that Vibrance produces a better effect than Saturation.

Adobe Camera Raw offers some adjustment of image noise under the Detail tab. I find it effective yet the adjustment can slightly degrade image sharpness. You may wish to give it a try.

In editing photos from an exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden, I came across the attached photo. What you see in the download is a crop and edit that resulted in noise that I did not know how to address. Perhaps it cannot be addressed and I should consider this shot an "art" picture. I use LightRoom and Photo Shop, but I have little familiarity with PS.

Nicely fixed; I like it in B&W, too. Very nice, interesting subject.

You guys are providing good ideas faster than this old man can react! Thanks so much for the interest and taking the time to share your expertise. I will post another redo with the next set of comments incorporated as soon as I work out that clone stamp thing.

Nice work. Here's my try on your original download. Took about 30 seconds. Used Photoshop and selected filters, blur, gaussian blur, and set the pixels to 1.4.

I have gotten to about this point, but I need to work on the clone stamp and removing the reflected light spots.

My favorite of the anti noise programs, but for some reason I can't get it and LR/PS to pass files back and forth like they are supposed to do. So since I have to do a complicated work around I only use it for important images.
