Two of twenty one D senators switched and I don’t know of any D governors that switched.

Wallace/Humphrey carried Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and one e*******l v**e in Virginia in 1968 so it was Wallace who cost Humphrey the presidency in 1968 and not some Nixon “southern strategy” as your mythogy teaches:

In 1976 James Earl Carter, who called Obama a “black boy”, swept the southern state’s:

In 1992 Klinton carried Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Missouri, Mississippi and Georgia.

In 1996 Klinton carried the south HUGE:

So tell me again about this fairy tale southern strategy that you cling to?

Two of twenty one D senators switched and I don’t ... (show quote)

You do know that the article that I posted argues against the so called Southern Strategy having washed the Democrat party of the Klan.

Thank you Frank T, you save me time from trying to explain to the uneducated (Republican) about the Civil Right Act of 1964 and the South became Republican.

Then answer the facts I presented liar.

A consortium of liars will not make the lies true.

Facts, they are such stubborn things ... and the undeniable fact is that the southern strategy is naught but the typical mythical moonbattery spewed here daily by the black hearted cabal.

I would challenge the three of you to produce evidence of the southern strategy, but we all know that you can’t.

Thurmond switching never happened? Helms never switched? You aren't much more likely to see a Republican displaying the confederate f**g than a Democrat.
I'm pretty sure you know better.

That’s two out of twenty one southern D senators ... less than 10% for my math challenged friends ... and that is your support for your myth?

Why did Nixon lose the south when it was his southern strategy? Why did Carter carry the south? Why did Klinton carry the south?

Why did the south not flip until after Nixon was dead?

Better yet, why do y’all try to push this lie when each of you know it’s a lie?

Tell us widdle liar Tommy?

Tell us again how the American N**i Party is a left wing liberal organization - since they are having another “Unite the RIGHT” march in DC on August 11th. You remember them, they were some of the “good people” who marched in Charlottesville in 4 months ago..

“Facts... they are such stubborn things”! 😂.

And the liars quartet is all here ... instead of learning they call names as if that will magically make their lies become true.

Where is your evidence of anything you have ever claimed?

I claimed the American N**i Party was right wing and you argued they are left wing liberals. See the above proof fool.

Wikipedia....

In American politics, the Southern strategy was a Republican Party e*******l strategy to increase political support among white v**ers in the South by appealing to r****m against African Americans. As the civil rights movement and dismantling of Jim Crow laws in the 1950s and 1960s visibly deepened existing racial tensions in much of the Southern United States, Republican politicians such as p**********l candidate Richard Nixon and Senator Barry Goldwater developed strategies that successfully contributed to the political realignment of many white, conservative v**ers in the South that had traditionally supported the Democratic Party to the Republican Party. It also helped push the Republican Party much more to the right.

(Snip)

The perception that the Republican Party had served as the "vehicle of w***e s*******y in the South", particularly during the Goldwater campaign and the p**********l e******ns of 1968 and 1972, made it difficult for the Republican Party to win the support of black v**ers in the South in later years. In 2005, Republican National Committee chairman Ken Mehlman formally apologized to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a national civil rights organization, for exploiting racial polarization to win e******ns and ignoring the black v**e.

{snip)

Although the phrase "Southern strategy" is often attributed to Nixon's political strategist Kevin Phillips, he did not originate it but popularized it. In an interview included in a 1970 New York Times article, Phillips stated his analysis based on studies of ethnic v****g:

From now on, the Republicans are never going to get more than 10 to 20 percent of the Negro v**e and they don't need any more than that... but Republicans would be shortsighted if they weakened enforcement of the V****g Rights Act. The more Negroes who register as Democrats in the South, the sooner the Negrophobe w****s will quit the Democrats and become Republicans. That's where the v**es are. Without that prodding from the b****s, the w****s will backslide into their old comfortable arrangement with the local Democrats.
