Ok, #6 Work around the weather!

Rain showers and sunshine seem to go hand-in-hand with summer. I suggest you embrace all of Mother Nature’s tantrums and photograph around it. Use that rain cover to step out into the rain to photograph the scene. If you don’t have a rain cover for your gear, maybe stay indoors and photograph the outside from your window. Or even get in the car, go for a drive and photograph from the comfort of your car!
Notice how rain changes the light completely and embrace that softness for a very different look to a normally sunny scene.
I hope these tips help get you in the mood to pick up that camera more often and get back into the swing of photography if you have been suffering from the winter blues.

Last but not least before I go...See what you can show us relevant to weather....some of you have already gone her, which is great...Hunt up some goodies before the end and Sat. begins....I'll be on the look out! Have fun!

Beautiful flowers with reflection in the pool!

Thanks judy juul. Guess that picture does give a pool like look! It's actually a small lake that curves around & has an overflow at the dam. Where we live there are 3 connecting lakes and it's quite peaceful. Bob

That's your yard?!?! What a beautiful place to live!

Hi SueScott…...The pictures I took are in "our yard" but the yards kind of flow into other yards around this small lake. There are actually 3 connecting lakes. We own an end unit condo & enjoy the peacefulness of the area where we live. We purchased it 14 years ago & it's our "forever home"! Thanks for the kind comment. Bob
