For many of us in the Northern Hemisphere, it is finally here-sunshine-thetime of the year most synonymous with new beginnings,
transition and growth all thanks to the powerful rays of the sun. After months of dark dreary weather and perhaps a mood that matches staying indoors, we are finally ready to shed those winter blues and head outside with our gear. So in the spirit of getting you out of the house and into the outdoors. Here are a few tips to help you do summer photography revel in all it's glory!

So I'll start with my flower pictures..'cause I love working in my garden and picking bouquets for my dining room table.

Today we went canoeing and my selfie photo crashed! More to come...

Playing around with a new computer and my photo programs. No more crashes so far. Went to dinner in a mill town tonight and sun was strong at sunset. A few different presets and filters. I am always amazed at the sheer numbers of bricks and the artistic patterns. I will always wonder what used to be inside and what the inside looks like now - rats and all, I bet.

In the state where I live (NSW, Australia) it doesn't get real cold, if you live on the coast, even in mid winter.
Both these are from the archives and shot in winter.
