Just for laughs... here is a new multi-family listing I received a couple of days ago - the photos on Zillow are exactly the same as the ones on the MLS listing sheet. It's like one of those old "How many mistakes can you find in this photo?" games. Which is the photographer's worst?

Personally, I can't decide between the excessive security cameras, the (apparent) drug paraphernalia, or the trash. Several other honorable mentions.

As I'm always looking for multi-family, I receive several listing updates each day within my search criteria. You'd be surprised at how many are even worse than this one. Somehow, brokers seem to think that they'll attract showings for multi-family buildings with shots like this, even though they may spend hundreds of dollars staging and shooting a McMansion that is listed at a lower price than this one!

A few weeks ago, I got a few photos of a half million dollar property that appeared to be done on a cell phone, and featured (really) (no REALLY) a pile of dog poop outside the main entrance and gang tags in the parking area. Way to make me ask for a showing!

I can't believe how few agents are willing to pay for some good shots to increase traffic. A good photo can't sell a property, but bad ones can certainly prevent people from ever seeing it. Of course, as on eBay, it has the opposite effect on me as a bargain hunter, so I guess I should post on the MLS board praising the work of these bad photographers!

These are straight out of camera, company does all pp. This is high volume real estate photography, (not Architectural Digest), my bread and butter. My set up is quite simple and efficient. Nikon D7100, Nikon 10-24mm, Nikon SB700 speedlight with included small dome diffuser on TTL mode, tripod and 3 way geared head, shot in live view, manual settings. Hope all of the photos attach, not sure about size limits when posting.
