Very interesting post, I just love anything historic no matter its condition. Nice of you to visit yourself then share with everyone. These places are a reminder of the past good fortunes but even those dry or in this case freeze up. Great job, Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, James. Unfortunately, I doubt that it will ever be restored. At this point it is severely deteriorated would be very costly. It is a shame because it is from a very different time.

I like these shots, Carol. I know little about shooting B&W, so have nothing constructive to say about them, but I do like them.

Thank you, Donna! B&W seemed to suit this location and I am learning to process them.

Thank you, Cathy! I’m slowly learning. So far it’s been a lot of work but I enjoy processing.

It always strikes me as poignant that a place which was once the center of the lives of so many, now sit mute, unable to boast of former glory days.

It is enough to make us stop and consider what is important isn’t it. This was a very busy place in its day with many employees.

No doubt, many a family was sustained by its existence. Family, friends and photos top my list👍🏾

It's a tough call between the B&W and the recent post of the color. I think the shots work well either way.

Thanks, Vicki. I find that I like some one way and not others. I like the wall of little broken windows much better in color, for example. It is fun and educational to experiment.
