That sounds great but you chose the wrong case to make your point with. There were eyewitnesses that stated that Brown charged the officer and the forensics bore that out. Sorry Tom you lose on this topic. As far as the chief resigning, Holders DOJ went in there and forced him out, they may have had good reason I don't know at that time the Obama administration were taking on police departments all over the country in an effort to put them under federal control.
And Thom, they pretty much did prove his innocence. That is a big part of the reason that no civil rights violations were pursued.
