I'm involved in a discussion with another film shooter and while discussing the availability of reviewing shots in real time he said that he NEVER DOES. He said that he might go a month before even LOOKING at the images. He never chimps, never checks or reviews, never goes home and downloads the images into Lightroom or whatever post processing software.
I said that that's very unusual so here I am asking you 'hogs...what do you do? Answer by adding the alphabet letter that most closely matches your answer;
A. I chimp shots at least SOME of the time, OR I take the card out of the camera when I get home or within one day and review images.
B. I NEVER chimp EVER NOR do I REVIEW images until well AFTER the shoot date...like AT LEAST A FEW WEEKS LATER IF NOT MONTHS LATER.
Here we go!

I virtually always look. I have that feature and want to know seeing as coming back is not generally feasible.

I typically do not chimp unless I am facing a tricky lighting/exposure situation. In those cases, I have the histogram displayed on the lcd. Then I will chimp every shot until I have the exposure dialed in. This usually takes no more than 2-3 test exposures.
A- I usually chimp while I’m shooting because I shoot events and the light changes in different parts of venue. I also download and process within a day or 2. I post at least 50% percent of images to social media if it’s a paid job and that’s what the customer wants.
I don't get the question...I always download and review my shots. If I'm shooting for personal fun I sort the good from the bad. When I do a job that's what I'm paid to do. So what do you mean by Chimping??? I have never heard that term before.....Okay so I paused for a second and Googled the term in relation to photography. I "Chimp" as you put it or check my image and/or histogram on camera every so often as lighting changes to make sure my images are properly exposed or when I'm shooting a group photo to make sure there are no blinkers and if I'm away from home like I was Last week at my daughters graduation and I don't have access to my computer I chimp away so I can see the day. But every shot on every shoot...not a chance.
