After waiting so long for spring to arrive, my lilacs decided to work over time this year... I've never had this many flowers and their aroma fills the air!!

Thank you do much, Carol, for your lovely compliment!! It must have been this long cold spell we had, my clematis is also popping like crazy with buds... but we did lose quite a few perennials that were planted in pots.

Lovely, Angela, and I know that wonderful aroma!! Ours were all too short-lived this year...late start and then gone in a flash. Did not even get to confiscate a few from my neighbor's bush to make that aromatic bouquet that takes me back to childhood!

I can just smell the aroma, Angela! I remember mine at this stage but they are long gone now. These shots are sweet!

The lilac is beautiful and the compositions and shots are excellent Angela. I think it must be the late spring as our lilac tree has never had such a good display of blossom.
