Aye. Mainly in darker or unusual lighting conditions. Maybe about 50% of the time it is shutter preferred with fixed ISO. Never auto ISO.

I use manual with auto iso for action nature and straight manual for everything else

Only when I need it, such as keeping frame-to-frame exposure constant in panoramas or when shooting at night. Most often in aperture mode and quickly get what I want using exposure compensation.
