I'm a retired RN too! Al was a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; we met at the hospital where we both worked.

Well with Debra and I it goes like this: She rattles off something filled with medical terms. Our daughter Jasmine nods or rattle some back. I go "HUH?".
I rattle off something about history, geography or government and they both go "HUH?".
Then we have a translation party, or not.

LOL Thank goodness my Al was in the medical field too, so no problems there; our younger son is in the medical field too!
