The 16-300 in Nikon mount is a DX lens. It will mount on full frame, but the camera will switch to DX mode. That means that with the D750, you'll only get to use 10.7 megapixels in the center of the sensor. The pixel density is lower than on their DX cameras, which is actually a good thing if you're using the whole sensor.

The 150-600 is an FX lens. You would get the full use of the sensor on the D750.

The D750 with the 24-120 plus the 150-600 that you have would make sense and probably serve you well.

As many have pointed out, there are DX options like D7xxx or D500 that would be an upgrade of your camera. The D750 would probably have a subtle advantage in overall IQ, but the D500 is a speed demon in comparison with better low light capability. You can get the D500 with free battery grip now for under $2000

Just pointed out to me, the d7500 has no AI, and only one card slot. Get the 7200- or wait 'till after summer to see what's new.
