Well, my GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) is officially over! I have now rounded out my lenses with this Fearsome Foursome to complement the Nikon D850. Now all I need to do is practice, practice, practice, practice.

So, how long is it going to take to pay off that second mortgage?

That would be true, but I sold my Catalina 470 sailboat, so I figured the new camera and gear was a more than fair trade

For the giggles I put your body and four lenses in my shopping card at B&H. The total came to $9,856.80. I'm disappointed that you didn't include the 800mm f/5.6E.

G.A.S. will return soon. You'll need the new carbon fiber tripod with gimbal head for the long lens.

One way to look at it, you can take Pictures every day, But Sailing has to have special days.. But I have better days on a sailboat, than with a Camera..

You traded GAS for SAS (Sloop Acquisition Syndrome). Must have been some fun in the off shore "breeze" with a main and a spinnaker.

Or spending an entire day of gorging to put an end to habitual overeating... but eventually the hunger returns.

I have a Canon T4i with just one lens, an 18-135, so don't know what other lens, lenses this amateur needs. Being an avid sailor, I would definitely keep the Catalina 470. That to me, is the best of both worlds.

Well how about the Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 or the 16-35mm?
