...agree. It just seems rather futile and petty to come in to an active thread where folks are engaged in conversation (about *whatever*) and give a "harrumphy," snarky comment about how it should be elsewhere. Waste of bandwidth.

The biggest waste of BW is you computer geeks harrumphing about how updating a computer is somehow relevant to photography. It’s not unlike like crowing about how much you like the new stainless steel darkroom tanks you just bought. Who cares?
It’s the quality of the image that counts, that instant the shutter was open, what was there? The computer is just a tool, like a screwdriver. Photography is not about the computer.
