Lightroom/Photoshop or On1 Photo Raw?

Tony there are a lot of videos supplied by oN1. Go to the website. You probably have a link already if you have downloaded the demo of the program. I have been using PS since before LR became available. There are things in oN1 Photoraw that I quite like. I am finding Photoraw is better at making panoramas. The HDR facility in Photoraw is not yet as good at handling ghosting as Photomatix. The special deals they offer makes it a cinch as a good buy. Be sure to research and get one of their super special offers.

I use PS, because it let's me do anything I want/can think of! I do not use LR (don't have a use for it)!

...that same "edit in" menu...just right click while your cursor is on the image you're working on. When finished in PS, you need to "save" the image (I keep a PSD) in order for it to appear back in LR...

Lightroom for all of its catalog capabilities and pretty good quick easy raw conversion.
Then Photoshop.
I also use Nik and Topaz.
I bought On1 2017, only to find out the 2018 version upgrade cost money again.
I don't mind the subscription price for LR/PS. You can use it on two different computers, in my case a PC and IMac.
I am still learning PS and liking it better.
But to each of us, stick with something and learn it.
Then Photoshop.
