Thanks for your kind words, Mike and probably should have taken a little more time in selecting the hen image but am so slow and had been working with them for longer than I would like to admit!

I built a duplex about 25 years ago, Angela and is showing it's age and need to make some repairs before the ducks complain to New Kent County and they condemn it!

Hahahahaa.... I'm sure they consider you a wonderful and thoughtful landlord!!

Thanks, Angela and I had made another comment concerning butterflies and for some reason did not reach you, but it's listed with my recent messages if you have a chance to check- wasn't that important anyway. Take care!

Thanks Jan and really appreciate you looking! It's almost time to start looking for the Prothonotary Warbler and had installed a nest box near the water last year complete with a large baffle and of course it was not selected. I had been checking it from time to time but never a trace of a nest. Well, I was showing it to a neighbor yesterday, as he was thinking about installing one, and when I opened it there was a completely finished nest in it and couldn't be the Prothonotary as it's too early. Have no idea what bird it could be except maybe the wren, as I had installed a small plate over the entrance hole to limit it to a bird of the warblers size. Are you ready for all the little warblers that will be stopping by your area soon?... We have had purple martins for about a week, but many times they leave and come back several weeks later! Thanks again and take care!

Corky, is this the message you are referring to... I did answer it, it was on my crocus post

Yes, it's not raining and the forecast is for sunshine later in the day, but we did have quite a wind gust about an hour ago, and overcast and moderate winds as of now... We did see a cabbage white butterfly yesterday and don't believe I told you about the black swallowtail that must have emerged from a chrysalis attached to one of the hibiscuses that we brought inside for the winter. The hibiscuses and been beside the host plants of parsley when outside so guess a caterpillar must have decided to attach to it, although we didn't see any chrysalis when we bought it inside.; anyway, we opened the window and away it flew! Another adventure at Soggy Bottom Sanctuary! Take are!

That's it Angela and you saved Ellen a lot of work as I was going to try and persuade her to retype it for me!
