Viking River Cruise: Budapest to Amsterdam, set 3, Bamberg, Germany

Excellent photos! You apparently went to different spots in the city than I did in 2010 on an Avalon cruise. Of course, there was some overlap with the main buildings. I doubt there is a lot of difference among the various river cruise companies, and Avalon (now Globus, I believe) and Viking are 2 of the main ones. I thoroughly enjoyed my 15-day cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam, and I'm sure yours was very enjoyable as well. I look forward to more of your photos.

I like a lot of the photos I see on UHH. Only a small percentage are truly impressive. These are among that small percentage. Beautiful work!

I was on a Rhine cruise last year on a KD boat, l did notice that the Viking boats looked a bit scruffy compared with their competitors.

I believe Viking has re-done their fleet. Our ship was lovely. However, if you are not pleased you should stick with the company you like.
