The weather is being very cruel to our wildlife this year. I revisited this pond again yesterday in the snow and freezing temperatures that have gripped us again. No sign of the frogs and the top layers of the spawn were frosted. I am sure some of it will survive, nature has a way of coping. I am really pleased that you liked these. It certainly is David, the birds are so hungry topping up food three times a day! Our pond has frogs too, I think they might go further down in the water when the snow and frost is on the top.
