Love in a cold climate!

Common Frogs (Rana temporaria) spawning. The weather here is stubbornly refusing to improve. Cold and windy with more snow coming. I went to check out a pond up in the hills above my house and despite the cold weather the frogs were getting on with spawning. A year to the day exactly since they spawned there last year. Nature is amazing.
