I think we are very much at an advantage today having newspapers who employ fantastic investigative reporters who dig up things daily on this corrupt administration and the R's who allow Trump to get away with all the ethical violations he does.

I'm so glad MSNBC and CNN both employ these reporters who explain the latest news they've found. Print newspapers are booming, because you don't like the news doesn't mean they're lying, much as you'd like that to be the case.

We had to put up with eight years of lying, directly and by omission, so I’ll just keep verifying. Note the obnoxious amount of retractions over the past eight years (I’m guessing you just ignore them).

The NYT is reputed to be one of the most reliable sources in the country. Which paper would you consider to be more accurate?

DSD, as irrelevant as ever.

I have been going here more lately. A "economic geography" professor I had in the early seventies recommended this and I have since drifted away from referring to it. I like their current philosophical mission. There are others with a more conservative leaning I obviously trust as well but for pure journalism this is pretty good stuff in my book.

ABOUT MONITOR JOURNALISM
We think it is time to rethink the news.

News is essential. It is the fuel for a thriving democracy. It takes us to places and introduces us to people we never imagined. It defends our rights and values.

Over the Monitor’s 108-year history, we’ve built a legacy of high-quality, distinctive journalism because we recognize that news is more than facts. It’s the story of how we are each trying to make our homes, communities, and nations better. What matters are the values and ideals that drive us, not just the who, what, when, and where of the news.

When we understand that, we understand the world, and one another, better.

The Monitor gives readers that deeper insight by offering this approach to readers:

We challenge conventional thinking. As forces from politics to social media try to break us into competing tribes – political, racial, or economic – together we’ll rethink the question, “Who is my neighbor?”

We listen to you. We need you to hold us accountable – to keep us honest and grounded. To inspire us with what inspires you. Together, we can build a community of people who ask more from news.

We will change how you see news. News must be accurate and trustworthy, but facts alone can miss the whole story – the story of us. We are much better than much of today’s news portrays us to be. We will have the courage to look into both the best and the worst in us – and not to blame, but to demand better.

Journalism can be a force for good – for inspiration and progress. But only if we all make it so.

You surprise me. One might not expect CSM to be a reliable source of good journalism, but as far as I know it is and has been a highly respected publication.

It doesn't take much. Why wouldn't you expect quality from CSM. Your problem is your world view which is the basis for all your assumptions. Conservatives get called out constantly for not being open minded when in fact, it is the exact opposite. Kinda like Russian collusion with Trump when in fact it was the Obama's, Clintons and the liberal lame stream press. However, I think the press were more useful i***ts than collaborators.

Christian Science is why, but like I said it is a respected publication.

I think I'll follow these stories instead. But you go back in your dark little hole of h**e and fester like a boil ready to spray puss. I know you won't open any of these because you can't handle the t***h but others will as it illustrates your smallness. Now, KKKeenan needs his diapers changed right after you do your Attends.
