My favorite is the second one. It seems to give credence to the legends. Really great shots. I wish I could be there when they have weather like you found.
The first one appeals to me the most. I think its the midground curve, almost arabesque, which makes for a strong compositional element, balanced against great detail and an intriguing palette. I can see lots of focal interest across the image captured by the fascinating light fall.
Very impressive shots. My favorite is #1 because of the overall powerful impact. #2 sure provides some interesting low lying cloud formations.
Says you joined Feb 2018 ......, with shots like this .., you needed to join a long time ago ..., where have you been ...especially # 1 ...
