I am a casual photographer looking for a simple, easy to use, post processing program to install on my MacBook Pro. I have just purchased a Fujifilm X-T20 for all-around shooting. I don’t want a program that is complicated or hard to use. Thanks in advance.
Check out Phocus by Hasselblad. It's free, but only runs on Apple products.

PICASA 3, basic/ easy to use .can be downloaded from internet .
Phocus sounds interesting, and I should check it out.
I have been using Gimp for years, and I am pretty happy with it. Not sure if you would regard it as 'easy to use' since that is rather subjective. No harm in downloading and checking out either of these suggestions.

Phocus seems quite limited as to whats available to use, e.g on a Pentax DNG highlight and Shadow Recovery are grayed out.
I have been a very happy Picasa user for too many years. (Mac user.) Although I am still learning my way around my relatively new Nikon so far Picasa seems up to the mark re post processing my shots.
I would definitely start with Photos, which is free on your computer, and add plug-ins later if you want. But Photos honestly should be all that you need right now.
I've never suggested this before but what if you could BUY an older version of Photoshop, before CC, such as CS5 or CS3. You probably can't find a CS6 version (last one before Photoshop CC) as no one will part with their copy. The price would be reasonable for an older version though. There are still many guides and manuals for those versions available cheap. And you would be learning and practicing in the world's leading post processing program. Just because it's not the latest version, it's still Photoshop, the king.

Affinity Photo, Apple’s pick as 2015 third party app of the year, is worth a try.
Go to the Serif page linked here. Scroll all the way down to find the link for a free 30-day trial. (Read the page to see what it does.)

Adobe Photoshop Elements is very complete, including an "Easy" mode. It happens to be on a one day sale for $60 at Amazon today. It is hard to match the abundant training and learning resources.

What's wrong with the program that comes with your MacBook Pro?

Do you shoot in RAW? If so Adobe LightRoom!
There is so much support/help/videos out there for LR, that I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything else.
