As December came we wished and watched for our beautiful friend to return and then finally one day he finally appeared! Several times since his arrival we have not seen him for a few days, but this week I was able to take a few images, although at times I was clicking with a little drizzle coming down!

He is all decked out and ready for a mate! Beautiful bird shown off by very good shooting. Maybe he will bring by the young ones for a family portrait later on this year?
