My first dslr was a Sony Nex. I bought it used without a lens. I now have maybe twenty different manual focus lenses, from various manufacturers. I use lens adapters from ebay. Usually around $12.00. Because of this approach I learned to shoot in manual mode exclusively and feel that I learned to understand the basics of how a camera works. Besides that, It is loads of fun trying all the different types of lenses. and older lenses are dirt cheap for high quality.
Does your camera store have a shelf where they display old stuff? Adding to their display could be a great way to establish yourself as a preferred customer.
Thanks everyone! Great ideas.📸

If you itemize your taxes donate it to a charitable organization and get a receipt.

Well, your local historic society might have an interest in adding to or creating a photography section to their facility...or a local college or high school may have a photography department/art department that could use the equipment for training purposes.

sell/donate to those that will.
post it on ebay and hope for the best.
goodwill (get a donation paper) and put it on your taxes next year.
keep it until you die and let someone else deal with it.
Pretty much hits all the bases!
Memories! I had a Yashica TL super when I was a kid. Good luck!
Put on display or donate to a high school in your area. My grand daughter is a freshman in high school and took a photography class. They required a 35mm film camera for the class.
