I was looking for any good suggestions on what to do with this old equipment?

I put my old wide strap on my new camera.
My old film cameras are on a curio shelf, I sold/dumped the lenses and filters (wrong size).

See if you can contact members of https://www.facebook.com/groups/vintagecameras/, it is a closed FaceBook Group. Some members would drool over your camera equipment. Not sure if you can post to it. I might ask if there are any Yashica fans.

I have and use a whole bunch of those "Hippy" Straps. Yes, they do look like guitar straps.

What focal length and largest f-stop for each.

Yashica Yashinon lenses are excellent glass and there are adaptors for the Yashica mount to use them manually on Digital camera's.

I recall that Yashinon and Contax are similar in image quality. Quick check on eBay... you may have close to $100 to $300 in lenses alone. Yashica SLR's are very good, but not great prices.

Last 60 day sold prices on Yashica Lenses:

buy some film and shoot a roll.

sell/donate to those that will.

post it on ebay and hope for the best.

goodwill (get a donation paper) and put it on your taxes next year.

keep it until you die and let someone else deal with it.

Put them on ebay for $60.00 for everything (assuming they are in good shape with no known issues)

Film isn't dead and neither are film cameras.

One user, I think Jerry, made a pretty cool lamp from old cameras. I have gotten 3 "donated to me" and am going to be doing something along that line.

Nuclear war will be the demise of digital. With film, you can still shoot and mix the chemicals for processing from kitchen supplies... namely Folgers Caffenol process. If you are still functional, so will those cameras be. Hang on to them.

Hehe. If there is a nuclear war, processing photos will be the least of your worries.

Ebay or find a high school that still uses film (good luck) and donate.

Combine appropriate pieces into a lamp of some kind of home decoration. There's always ebay, but there won't be a big payment.

I’ve kept most of my old cameras because they have some sentimental worth to me. I have them lined up on a shelf. If they still work, I get one out and use it once in a while just because I can.

Check with local photo clubs and see if there are any takers.
