My church is having its annual "Art Show" next month and as one of the members of the FOCUS volunteer photographer group I am allowed to pick 35 pictures to be displayed there. In years past we have been constrained to only use photos taken during the previous 12 months, but this year we are allowed to use any that are our favorites, and are encouraged to include those that define us and explore our personal interests.
I have over 40,000 digitized photos, so the task to narrow down to just 35 was a daunting one. However, I have made my selection, and have uploaded copies of them to my Flickr account:

I do not put these forward as especially fine photography, nor as "art", although some may reach those goals. They were chosen because they have meaning to me and hopefully expose "who" I am.
Thanks, Leicaflex! (How does one add thumbs-up Smilies?)

When you see a photo you wish to comment on, Click on the 'Quote'
You will then see the quote which you need to delete.
Press Control and 'A' on your key board to highlight the text, then press delete to remove text.
With the screen clear, at the bottom of the page click on (Show Smilies)
and choose which one you wish to use.

OK, I think I found it. Thanks.
Nice assortment. Good luck!
Well, technically, they could be called religious in theme, nut I'm sure they're not what the local folks expected. : ) I wonder if he produced his own version of religious images on purpose.
dpullum, I'm not too worried. The set has been given to our Group Leader, who will be actually making the prints that will be displayed, and I'm sure that he would reject any photos that he deemed too extreme for the church members to see. (He's a staff member.) I also was disgusted by Mapplethorpe's "art" and I don't think I come even close to his debauchery. I didn't select any pictures that I would consider inappropriate for even children to view--did you see something that particularly caught your attention?

Thank you very much! It was a labor of love, and not easy.
