Somewhere between very good and darn near perfect. I love it. You may want to crop some of the sides off, the shot doesn't need those buildings, but they don't really detract from the shot. The lighting is great. I love that late afternoon sun.

Some suggestions, if you can move around the property. Try shooting just the end in B&W, that weathered texture could come out well. A shot from the sunny side with some emphasis on the windows. And, if possible, maybe some snow in he scene.

Old buildings like this can be a treasure of possibilities. They offer so much opportunity, and their texture is perfect for B&W. You did good with this shot. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your comments and good thoughts! I will revisit the place with your ideas in mind. It is right next to a very busy road so can be a bit of a challenge. It does look like it would be full of good possibilities. Again, thank you!

There’s a lot of detail in the download. I love the composition, lighting and overall feel of this, it just gives me a peaceful feeling. Joe suggested that you crop off the building on the end but it doesn’t bother me at all. I feel that a crop would ruin the composition. The only nit I would pick would be maybe to clone out the 2 signs on the end of the barn but that might be just too much trouble to make it worthwhile. And while your’re at it, the bright light in the bottom right window on the end of the barn. Great work.

Like this one a lot. Agree with Walt that cropping would compromise the composition. It's too bad that those flat roofed buildings are there but the barn shows to well from that elevation to find another angle to try and eliminate them. Initially I thought that the foreground fence wasn't contributing but after looking at the pix for awhile I changed my mind. This is an excellent subject well photographed.

Thank you Walt. I really appreciate your thoughts. I like the shot but it so good to hear comments from others and ideas on making it better.

I also am wondering about the foreground but I also seem to like the old fence. I really appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!

Very nice, the straw coloured foreground matches the low light on the building a treat.

Gorgeous light, Linda - the best photo op I've ever noticed of this barn, and you took full advantage with your composition.

A tiny improvement to consider: darkening and/or slightly covering with a few more branches the bright white spot on left.

Check your camera clock. It's wrong, though maybe just showing a.m. instead of p.m. - if there is daylight at 5:30 pm now; I tend to pay more attention to sunrise than sunset - ha.

Or maybe the time I see in exif is when you edited? Also, a crazy result from my Chrome browser reader, or again your editor: the focal length of the lens is shown with about seventeen digits to the right of the decimal point - now that is precise

Depends what you’re into Linda2, but I would darken the left hand building as Linda(1?) suggests, clone out the right hand building and the cable above it, enhance the snow-covered mountain a tad, straighten the white frame doorway (even if the whole thing is leaning), tone down the orange just a tad, try to recover a bit of blown sky detail if possible, try just a touch of clarity to bring out the textures and sharpen to taste. Then print and hang it.
Otherwise, you could just leave it as it is - it’s a lovely shot.

Nice shot. I wouldn't crop or do anything more to it except cloning out the cable that goes to the barn from the right side of the image. Its distracting.

Now that is nicely done! The only addition I’d make would be to tone-down the white doorframe so it it doesn’t draw the eye so much. Be interesting to hear L2’s view on this edit.
