That sounds good! I am a few years from Medicare. Self employed and do not get any discounts on insurance as income is a little over the break point. Have to get insurance thru "The Marketplace" due to pre-existing conditions.

Jose's income IS taxed. His employer pays it as INCOME, you fool!!! Say Jose's contractor buddy, and he would have to be unlicensed, has a crew of ten Jose's working for him so they can build a house. That's $310,000 he pays extra taxes on. Say that $310K puts him into the 25% tax bracket. That's $78,000 extra taxes he pays on the Jose's alone, that's on top of taxes he pays on his profits without the Jose's.
Sorry, but that's not happening.

Most i******s paid into the system because most could not get jobs without SS cards and those who paid in do not get any benefits!

SNAP benefits are given to you each month on a plastic card called an EBT (electronic benefits t***sfer) card, which works like a debit card. Paper c**pons are no longer used. SNAP is a nutrition program. It is not a welfare cash assistance program (which is called TAFDC).

I can't understand why those of you that think free health care is so wonderful why you don't move to one of the countries that offers it. Bet it wouldn't take long for your to regret your decision. My wife is from N. Ireland and has three brothers and three sisters covered under the British healthcare system. We hear what actually happens there and we want no part of it.

Israel's healthcare system is great, but the price is high (I suppose) To be eligible, one must serve 2 years in Israel's Defense Force. (or what ever it is called...Standing army to me!)
