Wow, Joe Legal can still afford to pay for healthcare? This was obviously calculated before Obama care... My premiums this year are nearly 1K monthly for me only. Next year I can't do it, tired of paying for me and 4 or 5 of the Jose I******s..... I will just have to hope that I can avoid any catastrophic issues next year..

I won't go into it, but parts of that comparison is false. I******s cannot draw food stamps, WIC, housing, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, etc., and/or participate in any other government subsidy program. They do get medical through hospitals, as it illegal in most states, for a hospital to refuse emergency care to anyone. There was a big stink a while back about hospitals 'turfing' incoming patients to county hospitals.

Surgeons do a lot of elective surgery, for Canadians, here in my area as the wait times, in Canada, for elective procedures, are horrendous and our area is a destination resort type area so they come here.

That simply isn't true and is a common misconception amongst Americans. For any surgery that isn't elective the wait time is similar to what it would be in any US hospital. If you need surgery you get surgery, it's only "elective" surgeries that you may have to wait for.

I don't know if you are correct on this. Here's a Washington Post article that is heavily sympathetic to i*****l a***ns but admits that up to 3.9 million i*****l a***ns are receiving food stamps. This is one of those Liberal articles where they purposely conflate the terms "immigrant" with "i*****l i*******t," but they do make it clear that most of the recipients are here illegally. Their info comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
