The "fixer upper" is now permanently fixed.

You may not remember the post (with tongue firmly in cheek here) that I called the Fixer Upper so I will re-post. I have been watching this structure sag for years but apparently the property owner had a tractor and some extra diesel. I think it past fixing now...

Hundreds of dollars, if not more, in barn wood. For picture frames.

I'm waiting, and have my name put in for both a house built in the early 1900's and a barn (big) on the same property. It's about ten miles from my home.

I thought that it would fall apart on its own, people tend to do that in this part of the world.

Maybe they were wondering why I would stop and take its picture from time to time.

I've seen many an old barn (and a few farmhouses) just "disassemble" themselves over time and slowly fall in.
